Overall it was a fantastic session - Oge and Sana's passion, knowledge and conviction shone through and I felt like I learnt a lot of new stuff and also gained new ways of explaining to others concepts I was already familiar with. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

I think this was a good introductory session, which helped frame my thinking across a number of areas that relate to my work on a regular basis. I think the break-out rooms worked really well. It was good to hear feedback from other attendees that matched what I was thinking too. I found the workshop interesting and engaging. I found content that matched some of the preparatory reading I'd done before attending, and it was really useful to have the reading list at the end of the presentation.

I enjoyed the empowerment that I saw in attendees, particularly the Officers, where they were able to equip themselves with the knowledge and tools to challenge others, shake tables and make change. The trainers were well-versed in their knowledge and having them add their lived experiences of women of colour made the training more engaging and relatable!

I learnt so much from this workshop - about the different types of racism and the actions we can take within MarComms to address it. Sana and Oge are super presenters and made everyone feel able to contribute.

The context really helped set out just why changes in the University's are needed, and gave me the knowledge to have some back up when approaching the University.

All the content was interesting, informative and delivered clearly. At a more personal level, I learned that feeling uncomfortable when talking about race can lead to personal growth if the reason for the discomfort is acknowledged.
