Service Description

This workshop explores the racialised lived experience of people of colour, from systemic to individual racism and the way this affects them. We will examine terms such as whiteness, privilege and intersectionality in order to further attendees' understanding all with the aim to better grasp what race equity, rather than equality, means. The session will be interactive with a mix of listening and speaking, and at the end we aim for each person to leave with practical takeaway actions they intend to implement in their work to advance race equity in their department and at their institution as a whole. If you would like there to be interaction and discussion within the workshop, then we recommend no more than 30 people per session.
